My work is most often about a very particular quality of light which may be found illuminating urban buildings and people or a tree revealed by a sunbreak, or be exhibited by the beckoning nighttime lights of the city.
After majoring in Art/Design through junior and senior high school and during my first two years at the University of California, I left the Fine Arts department for a major incorporating my other interests: human behavior and the environment. Upon receiving a BA in Social Ecology (emphasizing environmental psychology), I embarked on professional career in the field of architecture in order to combine my seemingly disparate interests in design and the human condition.
