I create large poured abstract paintings. Each piece begins with a carefully considered composition and palette. My process is intentional and methodical—I lay multiple canvases on the floor and pour from above. Guiding the flow of paint by tilting the surface and then using wedges under the canvas I control its movement. Layer by layer, the surface evolves, requiring both patience and precision. It takes time to do this. However, disturbing the paint while drying can create interesting results. That’s what I am after, something interesting.
